About The Spiritual Skeptic

The Spiritual Skeptic is a blog I have created to share some of my reflections, insights, and whatever else is on my mind as a hospital chaplain in the United States. Over the course of my time in seminary, training, and years as a chaplain, I have experienced many things that have changed my life. I thought I knew what I needed to know about death, suffering, self-care, who I am, and all the other important things as I entered into my career. I quickly learned this is not the case.

I have grown interested in sharing some of my insights and the like on a platform over the years. This blog serves as that. Perhaps this blog is only for me as a place to get some things off my chest... In the end, if this place is helpful for  you, I am grateful.

If you are interested in reading, I will write about topics related to healthcare, religion and spirituality, relational dynamics, politics, personal growth, and whatever else I have been reflecting on lately.
